Presidential elections - EU notes official results of Electoral Commission, but deplores violence

Brussels, 23/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – The European Union has taken note of the official results announced by the Electoral Commission, according to which President Yoweri Museveni has been re-elected, said the spokesperson for the European External Action Service in a press release on Friday 23 January.
