EPP and Renew Europe take over task of simplifying AI Act

19/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – The names of the two rapporteurs for the Committees on the Internal Market and Consumer Affairs (IMCO) and Civil Liberties (LIBE) responsible for the ‘artificial intelligence’ part of the ‘omnibus’ simplification legislation on digital technology (see EUROPE B13755A3) are known.
