European Commission approves German aid worth €200 million to prevent emission of 2.47 million tonnes of CO2 equivalent

Brussels, 15/01/2026 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 15 January, the European Commission approved German public aid worth €200 million to support the production in Canada of renewable hydrogen and its derivatives, known as renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBO), according to a press release.
