European Parliament gives green light to increasing financial capacity of InvestEU programme

26/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 26 November, European Parliament overwhelmingly approved (519 for, 65 against, 73 abstentions) the agreement reached with the Council of the European Union on the revision of the InvestEU programme designed to attract additional private investment to the EU (see EUROPE B13716A19). The agreement provides for a €2.9 billion increase (from €26.2 billion to €29.1 billion), by 2027, in the public guarantee from the EU budget to cover...
