26/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament adopted Amending Budget 3/2025 on the adjustment of payment appropriations and the updating of revenue by 519 votes to 99 with 45 abstentions on Wednesday 26 November, approving the Council’s position. The draft amending budget, as submitted by the European Commission, entails a net increase of €123.7 million in commitment appropriations and €2.52 billion in payment appropriations. In particular, the European Parliament welcomes the €2 billion increase in payment appropriations for the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the boost for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in this year’s overall transfer. It calls for the continued acceleration of the implementation of ERDF, ESF+ and Border Management and Visa Instrument (BMVI) measures. (FS)
