07/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 6 November, the European Commission launched a call for proposals for EU action grants under the EU’s ‘Fiscalis’ cooperation programme, which enables national tax administrations to create and exchange information and expertise. The call is for two grants to strengthen research capacity and ensure the participation of research institutions in the design and implementation of EU actions to tackle the tax deficit, in particular tax avoidance, tax evasion and aggressive tax planning, to promote fair taxation, and to contribute to the design of efficient and effective tax systems that promote competitiveness and tools to support policy priorities.
