European Commission consults on prudential framework that will govern market activities after January 2027

07/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission has launched a public consultation, open until January 6 2026, to gather the views of stakeholders on two regulatory options for the ‘Fundamental Review of the Trading Book’ (FRTB). The aim is to provide input for the drafting, in spring 2026, of a delegated act to the CRR Regulation (575/2013), which would apply for three years after January 2027, the date until which the application of the FRTB rules has been postponed (see EUROPE...
