07/11/25 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 6 November, the European Commission adopted the work programme of the European Innovation Council (EIC), which allocates €1.4 billion to support Europe’s most promising entrepreneurs and researchers in the field of cutting-edge technologies. This programme focuses on simplified access to substantial funding and investment and easier access to customers and partners in Europe and beyond. The Commission is also preparing to launch the Scaleup Europe Fund, a market-based initiative managed by the private sector and co-financed under the EIC. This Fund aims to address the investment gap faced by Europe’s growing deep tech companies and provide them with the growth capital necessary to help them expand internationally while maintaining their European headquarters.
