MEPs are concerned for EU’s competitiveness following failure of vote on regulation on greenhouse gas emissions at IMO

Fotini Ioannidou, Deputy Director-General for Maritime Transport at the European Commission, explained the failure of the vote on the United Nations International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) ‘zero net emissions’ framework to the European Parliament’s Committee on Transport and Tourism (TRAN) on Wednesday 5 November.
