MEPs ready to negotiate with EU Council on measures to support wine sector

On Wednesday 5 November, the European Parliament’s Committee on Agriculture adopted its position amending the proposal on measures to assist the wine sector.

The draft report by Esther Herranz García (EPP, Spanish) on the ‘wine package’ was adopted with 43 votes in favour, none against and 2 abstentions (see EUROPE B13744A4).
