Mr de Gregorio Merino and Mr Klement appointed Directors-General of Legal Service and OLAF respectively

05/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 4 November, the European Commission appointed Alberto de Gregorio Merino of Spain as Director General of its Legal Service (LS). Mr de Gregorio Merino, who will take up his post at a later date, is currently Director within the LS responsible for issues relating to financial services, fundamental freedoms and intellectual property.
