Nikšić named ‘European Capital of Culture 2030’ outside EU

22/10/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 21 October, the chairman of the group of independent experts on the European Capitals of Culture recommended that Nikšić (Montenegro) be designated as the ‘European Capital of Culture 2030’ in an EFTA/EEA country, a candidate country or potential candidate country for EU membership.
