Accessible housing – several Member States have reservations about future reform of state aid and its impact on housing market

Meeting on Monday 15 September in the Council of the EU’s Working Party on Social Questions, experts from the Member States gave a generally favourable reception to the new text of the Council’s conclusions on the future European plan for affordable housing (see EUROPE B13707A29).

The draft conclusions, which will be subject to a new version for the 6 October working group, should be approved by the Employment and Social Affairs Council in December.
