Far right in European Parliament preparing own no confidence motion in ‘von der Leyen II’ Commission

05/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – The spokesperson for the far-right Patriots for Europe (PfE) group in the European Parliament, Alonso de Mendoza Asensi, confirmed on Friday 5 September that his political family was working towards tabling a motion of censure against the von der Leyen II Commission. “We already announced it before summer.
