European Commission accused of being too accommodating in face of repeated US attacks on its digital legislation

More than fifty organisations defending individual rights in the digital environment sent a letter to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, on Tuesday 2 September, asking her to “stand firm” in the face of the “new threats posed by the United States to European sovereignty and democracy”.
