Committee on Budgetary Control calls on European Parliament to recover €4 million misappropriated by ‘Identity and Democracy’ group

In a vote on Thursday 4 September, the European Parliament’s Committee on Budgetary Control (CONT) adopted an opinion calling on the latter to open “the required procedures with a view to recover the full amount of ineligible expenditure” attributed to the Parliament’s former far-right Identity and Democracy (ID) group.
