Several EU farming organisations call for rejection of EU-Mercosur agreement

On Wednesday 3 September, Europe’s leading agricultural and industrial organisations once again sounded the alarm over the consequences of the European Commission’s proposal to ratify the EU-Mercosur trade agreement (see EUROPE B13701A1). They are calling on the EU Council and European Parliament to reject the text of the free trade agreement.
