European Commission launches consultations on a second code of practice for AI systems

04/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 4 September, the European Commission opened a consultation to begin drafting its new code of practice on transparency obligations for artificial intelligence systems, provided for in Article 50 of the AI Act. This code, which will be accompanied by guidelines, is due to come into force on 2 August 2026.
