Lithuanian Prime Minister resigns on suspicion of financial wrongdoing

31/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – Lithuanian Prime Minister Gintautas Paluckas resigned on Thursday 31 July as part of an ongoing investigation into possible financial crimes committed by companies linked to him, AFP reported. He has also stepped down as leader of the Social Democratic Party.
