WindEurope calls on EU to take “decisive actions” as part of future European Grids Package

With the European Commission shortly to close its public consultation on its future grids package, expected by the end of 2025 (see EUROPE B13640A17), the association representing the European wind industry, WindEurope, called on Wednesday 30 July for “decisive actions on electricity grids”. It wants investment in networks to keep pace with demand for electricity, which is set to increase by 60% in Europe between now and 2030.
