EU Council approves agreement to include Ukraine in its data roaming zone

15/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 15 July, the Council of the EU adopted the proposal to include Ukraine in the European mobile data roaming zone starting 1 January 2026. This integration should enable Ukrainians to call, text and use their mobile data from Ukrainian telephone numbers in the 27 EU countries at no extra cost. In addition, the current voluntary agreement between EU and Ukrainian telecommunications operators has been extended, for the sixth time, until 31 December...
