14/07/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 15 July, the European Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investment Union, Maria Albuquerque, will take part in the annual Financial and Professional Services dinner at London’s Mansion House. Invited by the UK authorities, Ms Albuquerque is expected to hold talks with senior representatives of the UK government, regulatory authorities and the financial sector. The Commissioner’s discussions are expected to focus on financial cooperation within the framework of the Joint EU-UK Financial Regulatory Forum on financial services, financial inclusion and education initiatives, capital market reforms, consumer and retail investor protection, and banking and insurance regulation, specifically the implementation of the Basel III Accords.
