Five EU countries volunteer to test app to check age of online users as proposed by European Commission

Determined to offer a solution to countries that for several months have been calling for action to ensure the safety of young people on social networks, on Monday 14 July the European Commission unveiled – alongside its guidelines to ensure the protection of minors online (see other news) – a test application to verify the age of online users.
