European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Human Rights finally has its third and fourth vice-chairs

27/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 26 June, the members of the European Parliament’s Subcommittee on Human Rights elected their third and fourth vice-chairs. The Left, through the voice of Rima Hassan (French) - who was the candidate for this post in July, a candidacy which caused debate (see EUROPE 13459/12) - proposed Isabel Serra Sánchez (Spanish). She was elected by acclamation. Arkadiusz Mularczyk from the Polish ECR group was elected fourth vice-chair by 14 votes to 11, following a vote requested by the S&D group. (CG)
