On Friday 6 June, the European Platform for Change published a series of practical recommendations aimed at attracting and retaining women in the transport industry (see EUROPE B13571A16).
Women account for only 22% of transport workers in the EU, and these recommendations could help to close the gender gap and remedy the staff shortage. The set of recommendations challenges outdated norms and promote inclusion, which will ultimately benefit all transport workers, in all their diversity.
