EUIPO will be responsible for registering artisanal and industrial geographical indications for certain EU member countries

06/06/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 6 June, the European Commission adopted a decision under which the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) will be responsible for registering artisanal and industrial geographical indications in countries that have not designated a national competent authority.
