Joint purchase of gas - European Commission opens second “medium-term” call for tenders

On Wednesday 12 March, the European Commission officially launched its second “medium-term” call for tenders to coordinate gas purchases under the AggregateEU platform (see EUROPE B13593A13).

Buyers in the EU and the Energy Community have until 17 March to submit and aggregate their gas demand for several six-month periods from July 2025 to October 2030.

Then, from 18 to 21 March, the call for expressions of interest will be issued to potential international suppliers.
