EU condemns arbitrary detentions by Houthi rebels after death of a UN aid worker

13/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 12 February, the European Union strongly condemned the death of a World Food Programme (WFP) employee who had been held by Houthi rebels since 23 January. “The European Union extends its deepest condolences to his family and to the World Food Programme, and stands in solidarity with all staff arbitrarily detained (...). The European Union calls on the Houthis for an immediate, transparent and thorough investigation and for those responsible...
