EIB Global and EU grant €2.5 million for a feasibility study on construction of a multipurpose seaport in Kiribati

13/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Investment Bank (EIB Global) and the European Union’s delegation in the Pacific have signed a €2.5 million contribution agreement to assess the feasibility of building and operating a multipurpose seaport and wave breaker on the island of Kiritimati (Christmas) in Kiribati, in the Pacific Ocean.
