‘Juvenes Translatores’ - European Commission has announced winners of its 18th translation competition

13/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 13 February, the European Commission announced the 27 winners of the 18th ‘Juvenes Translatores’ translation competition, aimed at secondary school pupils (aged between 11 and 18) in the EU. More than 3,000 participants translated texts in various language combinations between the 24 official languages of the Union, including unusual duos such as Polish-Portuguese and Romanian-Finnish.
