'European Board for Media Services' will ensure implementation of Media Freedom Act

The European Board for Media Services held its inaugural meeting on Monday 10 February. Established by the European Media Freedom Act, this independent advisory body at EU level will both monitor the application of the law and assist the Commission in regulating the media (see EUROPE B13394A32).
