Extension until end of 2029 of German aid contributing to EU rail sector interoperability

11/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 11 February, the European Commission approved the modification and extension of German public aid to promote safety (equipment for the European Rail Traffic Management System or ERTMS) and automation in the rail transport sector, in line with the 2008 guidelines for this sector.
