11/02/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 12 February, the European Commissioner for Climate Action, Wopke Hoekstra, will host the Working Group on ‘Clean Transition and Decarbonisation’ as part of the strategic dialogue on the future of the automotive industry (see EUROPE 13569/5). He will be meeting with key European industry leaders, social partners and stakeholders to discuss the transition to clean mobility. This Working Group is the first of the four thematic areas covered by the strategic dialogue to meet. In this context, the Commissioner and the participants in the Working Group will discuss the regulatory framework, the development of infrastructure for passenger and heavy-duty vehicles - both recharging infrastructure and the electricity grid - and measures to stimulate demand (see EUROPE 13572/7).
