Robert Fico to have another meeting with European Commission officials regarding end of agreement on transit of Russian gas via Ukraine

28/01/25 (Agence Europe) – Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will return to Brussels on Thursday, 30 January, to exchange views with European Commission officials on the consequences of the agreement on the transit of Russian gas via Ukraine ending on 1 January (see EUROPE B13551A13). Mr Fico had already had a discussion with European Commissioner for Energy Dan Jørgensen in Brussels on 9 January and had called on [Ukraine] to “take an active part in further negotiations”...
