The European Commission held a high-level roundtable on Thursday 12 December to discuss the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in scientific disciplines and fundamental research.
The discussions were structured around three main themes: - facilitating the integration of AI into research in order to accelerate advances in various scientific fields; - supporting and advancing European AI research; - pooling EU resources for the benefit of research institutions.
