European Parliament political groups agree on a list of 28 intergroups

On Wednesday 11 December, the European Parliament’s eight political groups announced agreement on a list of 28 intergroups for the 2024-2029 legislature, at a meeting of their Chairs to prepare for the plenary session starting on Monday 16 December in Strasbourg.

This list includes many intergroups that were already active during the previous legislature and working on the following issues: children’s rights, LGBTQI+ people, trade unions, cultural heritage, freedom of religion, seas...
