12/12/24 (Agence Europe) – According to a legal act published in the Official Journal of the EU on 12 December, Frenchwoman Bettina Patricia Boughani’s mandate as Head of the European Union Monitoring Mission in Georgia (EUMM Georgia) has been extended by one year, that being until 14 December 2025. Ms Boughani has held this position since 1 April 2024. As for the mission, [its mandate] was extended by two years—until 14 December 2026—last week (see EUROPE B13537A28). (CG)
