Strong growth in patents for use of artificial intelligence in electricity grids

10/12/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 10 December, the European Patent Office (EPO) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) published a study showing that patents concerning the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in electricity grids have increased sixfold since 2018.
