On Tuesday, 15 October, Member States’ European affairs ministers reaffirmed the European Union’s commitment to combating antisemitism while fostering Jewish life.
Adopted during their General Affairs Council meeting, the declaration first draws attention to the rise in antisemitic acts in the EU (see EUROPE B13451A26) and then notably urges the EU27 to take decisive measures against all forms of hatred and discrimination.
