New Eurobarometer survey finds Europeans fairly well informed on fundamental rights and EU’s efforts to protect them

Conducted in all EU Member States in March and April 2024, a new Eurobarometer survey on Europeans’ perception of values and rights shows that “more than half of Europeans feel well informed about the Rule of law in their own country, while two-thirds think that EU rights and values - such as fundamental rights, democracy and the Rule of law - are adequately protected”, said the European Commission in a press release on Tuesday 15 October.
