BusinessEurope publishes roadmap for supporting SMEs in EU

On Tuesday 15 October,BusinessEurope, the organisation representing businesses in the EU, published a roadmap proposing measures to support the development of SMEs on the continent. The absolute priority is better legislation, according to the organisation.

“Between 2017 and 2022, the European Union has imposed a total of 850 new obligations on companies, representing more than 5,000 pages of legislation which add extra burden for companies”, laments BusinessEurope.
