EU Council adopts directive and regulation on designs protection

11/10/24 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 11 October, the Council of the European Union adopted the directive and regulation on the legal protection of designs. The aim of this legislative package is to make the registration of designs cheaper and simpler. It also adapts EU law in this area to the challenges of a digital world and 3D printing.
