European Commission authorises Exyte’s acquisition of Kinetics

01/10/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 30 September, the European Commission unconditionally authorised the proposed acquisition of Kinetics Holding GmbH by Exyte GmbH, a transaction between two German companies. Exyte is active worldwide in design, engineering, procurement and construction for advanced technology industries such as semiconductors. Kinetics provides design and installation services as well as certain equipment for production plants and laboratories. The Commission noted that the products and services offered by Kinetics on the markets for installation services, media supply systems and/or technical facilities management services are not unique and are offered by a number of other market players. Competing suppliers of installation services and media supply systems are not dependent on Exyte as a customer. (LC)
