On Tuesday 16 July, the Economic and Financial Affairs Council is due to adopt the revised post-Covid-19 recovery and resilience plans presented by five EU Member States in the spring.
The following recovery plans are concerned:
- the Finnish plan, with €1.95 billion in grants alone (see EUROPE 13412/24): https://aeur.eu/f/D05
- the German plan, with €28 billion in subsidies (see EUROPE 13294/25): https://aeur.eu/f/d06
- the Polish plan, worth €59.8 billion (€34.5 billion in loans and €25.3 billion in grants) (see EUROPE 13444/18): https://aeur.eu/f/d07
- the Cypriot plan, which amounts to €1.2 billion, including €200 million in the form of loans (see EUROPE 13444/18): https://aeur.eu/f/d08
- the Greek plan, worth €35.95 billion, including €18.2 billion in the form of subsidies (see EUROPE 13445/30): https://aeur.eu/f/d09
On Tuesday, the European finance ministers are also expected to approve the socio-economic policy recommendations that the EU institutions make each year to the Member States with a view to drawing up their draft national budget plans for the following year.
