Searches at European Parliament in offices of former parliamentary assistant to Maximilian Krah

29/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 29 May, the Belgian federal judicial police searched the home and Brussels office of a former assistant to far-right MEP Maximilian Krah (ID, German), as part of an investigation into MEPs and Parliament staff who were allegedly approached and paid to promote Russian propaganda via the Voice of Europe website (see EUROPE B13399A2), which is now banned from broadcasting in the European Union.
