25/03/24 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 25 March, the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) launched a call for applicants to join a new consultative expert group that will work on power purchase agreements (PPAs) between spring and summer 2024, with the possibility of an extension to 2025. The task of this new group will be to advise on the need for standardised power purchase agreements within the European energy market. It will also help to assess whether standardised PPAs will promote the transparency, efficiency and integration of the European internal energy market. ACER is looking for experts with experience in the legal, financial and technical fields related to energy regulation. The deadline for applications is 19 April.
