Member States want to go further than target of reducing businesses’ administrative burden by 25%

On Thursday, 7 March, the EU27’s ministers for the internal market debated the competitiveness of the EU and the state of the internal market. They reiterated their vision of a competitive Europe in the coming years, which they believe requires massive investment and a real capital markets union. Reducing the administrative burden came up in discussions once again as a crucial need for businesses.
