€81 million already earmarked by EU in 2024 to help Palestinians in Gaza

On Thursday 7 March, the European Commission announced that it had already signed contracts worth €81 million, representing 65% of the €125 million EU humanitarian aid budget earmarked to help the Palestinians in Gaza in 2024. According to the Commission, 2.2 million Palestinians need humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip.
