European Left to name its Spitzenkandidat at end of February in Ljubljana

17/01/2024 (Agence Europe) – With a view to the European elections in June 2024, ‘The Party of the European Left’ will nominate a lead candidate (‘Spitzenkandidat’) and approve its electoral manifesto at its next General Assembly, to be held in Ljubljana on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 February, at the invitation of the Slovenian party Levica. At this stage, no-one has officially put themselves forward as a candidate to represent the radical left at European level. (MB)
