18/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 18 December, the European Commission announced the publication of a series of new calls for proposals for the Digital Europe programme. €84 million is available for activities supporting security operations centres with new applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and other enabling technologies, for the implementation of European cybersecurity legislation. The calls are open to companies, SMEs, public administrations and other entities from EU Member States, EFTA/EEA countries and countries associated with the Digital Europe programme. The projects funded by this call will be managed by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC). The call for applications will open on 16 January 2024 and the deadline for submitting applications is 26 March 2024 at 17:00 CET, the Commission announced in a press release. (CG)
